Across KISS and KIIT campuses, students have access to one of the most expansive and inclusive sporting ecosystems in the country. Spanning multiple campuses and supporting over 37 sports disciplines, these facilities are designed for both grassroots participation and high-performance training.
From athletics tracks, football grounds, and swimming pools to specialised spaces for archery, rugby, judo, boxing and more; students train in environments that meet national and international standards. As they move into higher education, dedicated libraries within academic buildings offer more structured environments for study and research. School classrooms at KISS are vibrant, structured spaces where young learners build strong academic foundations. With a focus on engagement and inclusivity, these classrooms support interactive learning and personal attention.
At the university level, classrooms are designed to encourage dialogue, critical thinking, and collaboration. These spaces support a more independent learning style, preparing students for academic and professional pathways ahead.
At KISS, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Across both school and university campuses, students engage with a wide range of laboratories and innovation spaces that bring concepts to life through hands-on exploration. From foundational science labs to specialised disciplines such as Home Science, Geography, Education, Psychology, Anthropology, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry and Physics, these environments support experiential learning at every level. Innovation is further encouraged through dedicated spaces like the Language Lab, Atal Tinkering Lab, Nano Innovation Lab alongside multiple computer labs that enable digital learning, creativity and problem-solving across campuses.
Beyond living spaces, thoughtfully designed common areas and open environments, such as a science park, children’s park, herbal garden, mini aviary, reptile installations and terracotta gardens create opportunities for recreation, exploration and cultural exchange. These shared spaces foster a vibrant, inclusive community where students grow together.
At KISS, residential life is at the heart of the student experience. Safe and comfortable hostel facilities are provided for all 30,000 students, creating a shared environment where learning and living go hand in hand.
Spacious dormitories with ample natural light and ventilation offer a healthy and welcoming setting for daily life. Dedicated wardens and support staff ensure round-the-clock care, providing guidance, supervision and a sense of security.
The well-being of students is central to life at KISS. Comprehensive healthcare services are provided through an on-campus dispensary, offering regular check-ups, preventive screenings and emergency medical care, ensuring that students receive timely support and are able to continue their education without disruption.
At the heart of this system is the KISS Infirmary, a 100-bed facility supported by a dedicated team of 10 doctors, 11 pharmacists, 25 nurses and 81 health attendants, providing continuous care and treatment within the campus. Beyond physical health, the KISS Wellness Centre offers counselling support to help students navigate emotional, social and academic challenges. With dedicated centres for boys and girls located within hostel areas across campuses, these spaces are designed to be easily accessible, private and comforting, encouraging students to seek support when they need it.
At KISS, learning is deeply connected to identity, community and self-expression. Across campuses, a range of cultural spaces, from open-air theatres and expansive festival grounds to dedicated cultural halls, create opportunities for performances, shared celebrations and the practice of dance, music and traditional art forms. Dedicated practice rooms and guided programmes support students in exploring their creative talents, while a specialised Indigenous Language Lab works towards the preservation, documentation and continued evolution of tribal languages, ensuring that linguistic heritage is sustained and shared with future generations. Together, these spaces nurture pride, creativity and a strong sense of belonging.
KISS has not only transformed its own campuses but has also impacted rural Odisha through initiatives like solar lantern distribution, cleanliness drives and afforestation drives among others.
